‘To Wake all Shadowed Lands’ is Kerr's new body of work.

The collection began - as do many of Kerr's - with musical composition. In Spring 25 Kerr wrote three pieces for piano, one of which, ‘To Wake all Shadowed Lands’, became the foundation for a poem, the narrative from which this new body of work was made.

This new work is born of love, loss and hope…its narrative is metaphorical…the sunrise and light of a new day representing the waking from darkness, the release of grief, acceptance and the treasuring of memory…bringing strength to journey to a place of reawakening and hope, of fresh energy and new growth.
